ADR for Animated short

For this project we had to record a short overdub that our animation team was going to animate over.

The Brief

"We need to record a scripted overdub sound file so that we can animate over the top of. We will provide the talent but need you to help with the miking an stuff..."

The Team

This was a simple task but it needed to be done well. During this recording session we found that there were times during the recording that it needed us to coax a good result from the voice actors.

Having a good recording room setting is extremely helpful in getting the talent to be comfortable in their role.

Always come prepared for the recording but also be flexible when the artist is not performing and to be able to add some creative input when they are stuck in a script.
