W1 - Blog

Well first week and it was like opening a folder of work that you forgot was in in the back seat of your car for a month. After reading through the material online and getting to grips with Slack (online chat platform) I began looking through the website and synthesizing through the pages of information.

What it looks like in my mind in first week...

After the first session of the week I paired up with Joe who is also a game music connoisseur and aspiring game/film Foley artist. We held a meeting on Thursday first week and first brushed up on our signal flow in 8024 and then recorded a short track by his musician friend

Later that day we began to go through the AUD210 website and summarized and clarified what the deliverable that were due in the next week.

On Friday we clarified the deliverable template and material with Peter our lecturer and confirmed our ideas and progress were on track. After which we later walked into Live room A to record a scratch track on the Zoom H4n. (Left and Center in Figure 2)
